History of the University of Sydney

This university was established in the year 1850, making it the first university in Australia. Because of the exceptional teaching techniques, willingness to have excellence in research and having a heart for being a leader in the community, the university became known worldwide. In addition, the said university is an affiliate of the following groups: Group of Eight, Academic Consortium 21 (AC21), Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) and the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN).
