Casapueblo has been a Surry Hills institution for 16 years now and there's a good reason the place continues to attract so many inner- city dwellers. One of the earliest with what has become an almost universal food style; the South American tapas- based menu and cozy room warm you up from the inside out on a cold winter night. Perfect for family and friends looking to share tapas and conversation, or couples seeking the calm of the courtyard.
Opened by the Chef Zulma Otero in 1986 with the help of her partner Diana Pinon, Casapueblo Restaurant promises food enthusiasts a truly enjoyable dining experience.
Uniquely different, rooted in the warm flavors of South America, Chef Zulma Otero's dishes are infused with authentic flavors to create distinctive menu featuring fresh and flavorful dishes to satisfy even the most discerning palates and patrons who are most welcome to bring their own wine or beer as only soft drinks and juices are available by the glass or large jugs.
At Casapueblo they follow strict standards on service, quality and presentation using only the finest ingredients in all of their dishes to ensure that every meal served is delicious and nutritious.
Timings: Wednesday to Saturday after 6.30pm.
